(1) All users of Recipero’s services must:

• only use the services for the purposes of the prevention, detection and avoidance of crime (including fraud), or verifying entitlement to contractual benefits (for example under insurance or warranties); and

• maintain robust and up-to-date security measures for any apparatus or system which interfaces with the services.

(2) All users of Recipero’s services must not:

• allow or enable members of the public to perform their own checks using Recipero’s services;

• scrape, build databases, aggregate, or otherwise create or keep any long-term copies of, store, collect or keep cached copies of data provided by Recipero through the services, except for confidential logs of historical transactions which may only be used for:

  • the internal verification of invoices;

  • assisting in law enforcement enquiries; or

  • internal audits: provided that such logs shall be kept confidential and shall not be relied upon for identification of the current status of a device;

• reverse-engineer any part of the services or the data provided through the services;

• bypass, circumvent or attempt to bypass or circumvent, any of Recipero’s security measures of those of its third party data sources;

• access or attempt to access data or materials from the services which are not intended for their use;

• rely on historical or caches data when identifying the current state of a device;

• use or allow the use of any automated program or script, or other functionality or technique, which conceals or is misleading about the service user’s identity or use of the services;

• interfere or try to interfere in any way with the proper functioning of the services by any means (including but not limited to hacking, viruses, overloading, or crashing the site or systems);

• use the services provided by Recipero for any illegal or anti-competitive purpose;

• violate or facilitate the violation of others’ legal rights; or

• use the services in any way which adversely affects (or is likely to adversely affect) the reputation of Recipero or any of its third party data sources or in a way which brings Recipero or any of its third party sources into disrepute.
