Identifiable Property Claims Database (IPCD)

Providing comprehensive anti fraud services to insurers.

The IPCD is a database that contains insurance claims on goods that have a unique serial number such a mobile phones, laptops, iPods’ etc with the data provided by a range of insurers. The information is used to provide anti fraud services to insurers alongside a range of reports that identify suspect claims.

In addition the system is tied back to CheckMEND and allows the insurers to identify when product that belongs to them as the result of a claim is attempted to be sold to a second-hand dealer or recycler.

No personal data of the claimant is held on the system only serial and reference numbers assuring confidentiality of the information. Provision of data to the IPCD is free of charge to any insurer with further details available on request.
